Where it is usually found
- Older houses and bungalows
- Garages, sheds and outbuildings
- Schools, factories and industrial units
- Rainwater pipes, hoppers and fascia-mounted gutters
Why access matters
Gutters are at height, and access is the biggest factor in how a job is planned and priced. We use towers or scaffold where needed, and if scaffold is already up for other work we can share it.

How we do the work
Inspect and confirm
We look at the guttering, its brackets and the roof edge. A sample can be taken if you want laboratory confirmation.
Plan access
A safe working platform is agreed, barriers and signs go up, and the ground below is covered.
Dismantle by hand
We wet the material and unfix it in sections, lowering each piece whole. Power tools are not used.
Clean up
Brackets and the roof edge are cleaned with damp wipes and HEPA vacuums.
Dispose and replace
Waste is double-bagged and removed by a registered carrier. We can then fit new guttering.
Asbestos waste is double-bagged, sealed and taken by a registered carrier to an authorised disposal site. You receive a waste consignment note as your legal record.
